President’s Message

Welcome members of Branch 526,

Greetings my fellow NAPS members. Welcome to July 2025. I hope that all is well with you and your families. The summer is upon us. The PMG upset the apple cart and then resigned. He left many unfinished projects including eliminating middle and small plants, combining post offices, and creating large processing plants. The remaining leadership will be responsible for completing his vision. By the way, there is another price increase for the first-class stamp. I have lost count of how many we have had. Hopefully, the goal post will not change for the worse. New leader, new goals. Time to take a deep breath. Things will change again, and we should be open-minded about it. Leave the fighting to Naps. There is strength in numbers, but many of our non- Naps members will be relying on you to keep them updated without contributing to the cause. Nova has a considerable number of non-members. They are getting free advice from you. At $20 a PP, is an exceedingly small price for representation on Capitol Hill, a monthly magazine and newsletter and advocacy at both the National and local levels. As your distribution clerks dwindle and automation is introduced, giving you more responsibility, dignity and respect for your peers and the employees you supervise is especially important. Remember they are leaders in their communities and can lead you to success. Working together as a management team is key to the unit success. Study your MOUs and Handbooks provided. Remember, dignity and respect works every time. Welcome to our new members and take full advantage of the information that is provided.

If you sign up a new EAS, NAPS Headquarters will give you $25. New members help NAPS to stay strong and provides the new members with the benefits of membership. NAPS now have over 29,000 plus members.
