MINUTES – GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING-ZOOM
Thursday, November 20, 2025
Lloyd Cox called the meeting to order at 7:00pm via Zoom. The following officers were present: Lloyd Cox, President; Alice Jackson, VP Customer Service; Deborah Farmer, VP -P&; DC; Joanne Farmer, Secretary/Treasurer. Committee Chairs: Deborah Holley - Constitution/By-Laws; Kenny Marshall - Sargent at Arms; Harold Wade – Legislative; Andrew Martin – Membership and James Reedy – Resolution. Darcy Driscoll and Junemarie Brandt were absent.
The agenda was read.
The minutes were read, and Deborah Holley motioned to accept the minutes as read with any necessary corrections; Andrew Martin 2nd; motion passed.
The Treasury Report was read, and Andrew Martin motioned to accept the treasury report with any necessary corrections; Bill White 2nd, motion passed.

Old Business
The overall comments about the Advocacy and Branch Training were delightful, well-organized, and informative. Brian Wagner was the facilitator, and he was very knowledgeable and gave pertinent information. Overall, the networking was phenomenal.
Nomination Committee: William White and Darryl Beasley.
There are two positions to be voted on: President and Editor in Chief. Darryl Beasley stated he received only one nomination for President, Lloyd Cox, and one nomination for Editor in Chief, Junemarie Brandt. Lloyd Cox (President) and Junemarie Brandt (Editor in Chief) were unopposed. Alice Jackson stated Junemarie Brandt for the position of Editor in Chief by acclimation, and Lloyd Cox for the position of President by acclimation. Junemarie Brandt was reelected as Editor in Chief and Lloyd Cox was reelected as President by acclimation.
New Business
Joanne Farmer named the members that will be eligible to attend the Convention in 2026: Rose Allen, Tina Barrett, Darryl Beasley, Junemarie Brandt, Lloyd Cox, Darcy Driscoll, Deborah Farmer, Joanne Farmer, Deborah Holley, Alice Jackson, Kenneth Marshall, Andrew Martin, James Parks, James Reedy, Harold Wade and William White.
William White motioned to pay registration for 2 auxiliary members to the ERCM 2026, and Alice Jackson 2nd motion passed.
Deborah Holley motioned that we support Lloyd Cox in traveling to places within the Capital Atlantic Region in order to promote his election to candidacy and William White 2nd, motion passed.
Andrew Martin won of the Branch Meeting Raffle Drawing.
The next Branch Meeting is on January 22, 2024, at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
Motion to adjourn was made at 8:06 pm by Lloyd Cox and 2nd by Harold Wade; motion passed.
